EYE WOUND

This is the first special effects piece I created when I was 15. This piece is inspired by 'The Walking Dead' scene where Carl loses his eye to a gun shot wound. I created this piece using liquid latex and tissue paper, then coloured it using different red shades of grease paint and then added a lot of fake blood.

After studying special effects in university, I have found different and more officiant ways to create this type of wound but I wanted to add it to my website as a reminder of how I started and to hopefully inspire new upcoming special effects artists.
